About Joshua

Joshua is a NYC-based fiction writer originally from Dallas, TX.

He holds degrees from Yale University and Southwestern University.

Joshua has written many short stories and has recently completed his first novel, The Macmathars of Texas, for which he is currently seeking representation from a literary agent. His fiction is driven by passionate, quirky, and misunderstood characters whose consequences typically fail to match their anticipated outcome. The stories take particular interest in gender and sexuality, religion and myth, and social class. He comes from a long line of storytellers, including his mother, a novelist, and grandmother. Though the latter was never a professional storyteller, by all accounts, she was quite the expert.
